Struggling with PF Office Requirements After My Mother's Passing – Need Help Understanding Documents

Hello, I went to the PF office nearest to where my mother used to work. My mother died due to a heart attack on 2 Jan 2024. The employer where my mother used to work has not provided a date of exit. It's been two months. I went to the nearest office, and they told me to get the form attested by the school and gather the following documents when submitting the form.

1. On-roll certificate
2. Letterhead mentioning family details
3. Descriptive Roll.

I am unable to understand what exactly the above documents are.

The date of exit has to be provided by the employer. Only after that can you apply for a pension as a nominee. The mentioned documents are also required to be submitted, and these need to be attested by the employer. Therefore, please contact the employer and ask them to do the needful.

You need to have a termination date from your employer before you can apply for a pension as a beneficiary. In addition, the documents you have mentioned https://basketrandom.com need to be verified by your employer. So, contact them to ask them to do the necessary procedures. This is important to ensure that you can complete the paperwork and receive your benefits.

Hello, My experience tells me that you must specify in your written application to the employer that you require these documents in order to complete the registration and claim process. If, after receiving your application, they fail to get back to you within a fair amount of time, proceed to the PF Office, attach all of your proofs, and request the necessary documentation there.

You may report this to the Labor Office if they fail to provide the experience letter and comply with the legal requirements.
