EPFO message for non ECR payments - YOUR ESTABLISHMENT xxxxxxx, HAS FAILED TO REMIT DUES SINCE COVERAGE

Why are we receiving the message below from EPFO even after making regular payments?

Dear Employer,

Your establishment, xxxxxxx, has failed to remit dues since coverage. Please make the ECR payments at the earliest to avoid further penal damages and interest. Please ignore if already paid - EPFO.

The call center team at PF does not update PF records of the concerned on time. As a result, we keep receiving emails. Please submit a reply letter signed by the authorized signatory along with the paid-up challan to the concerned PF office. Collect the acknowledgment and share it in response to the email raised by the PF department.
