Is relieving letter important if I'm not displaying the experience? In the PF portal, the previous employer's name is showing

Hi folks, I'm under immense pressure regarding one situation. I want to know whether a relieving letter is important although I haven't shown that experience (1 week) while applying for the new job. However, in the PF portal, the previous employer's name is showing under the service history. I asked the previous employer but they are rejecting to provide me a relieving letter. I have a resignation letter with me, and I'm joining a company as a fresher.

If insisted by employer you should submit and present some convincing reason for non availability and also reason for short stint.
