Can Teachers Take Their Scheduled Day Off Early for a School Trip? Seeking Advice

Request your assistance in understanding the below case:

I work in a school governed by the MEPS Act. However, as we are a private school, financial aid is not provided. We have a group of students going on a field trip for a week from 20th Feb to 25th Feb. The teachers are accompanying them, and they have their scheduled Saturday offs and weekly offs during this period. The Head of Department (HOD) has granted the Saturday off, which falls on 24th Feb, early on the 19th Feb. Is this possible?

Hi, In the normal course, comp-off has to be availed only after it is accrued. But if the school management is providing it in advance, you can avail it.
