Recently, I completed the technical and managerial rounds at an IT global services company. After that, HR asked me to send my last three months' salary slips and offer letters (previous and current). It's been more than a week now (10 days), and the client has not approved the process to move forward. After client approval, there will be an HR round for salary negotiation. I am urging HR to follow up with the client, but she mentioned that we can't do that.
The client is from the US and is initiating a new project for which they are hiring 50 people. I don't understand why it is taking so long. HR initially mentioned it would not take more than a day, but now she is unsure about the delay.
What can I do? My anxiety levels are increasing day by day as I have put months of effort into reaching this stage in the recruitment process. I am currently without a job, but I am actively interviewing with other companies and trying to secure offers.
Could anyone please advise me on what I should do?
