PF withdrawal claim reject - "member is not an EPS member, but the employer remitted EPS, needs clarification with the revised form-3A"

Hi, my PF withdrawal claim was rejected for the reasons below.
1) As per the transfer-in amount, the member is not an EPS member, but the employer remitted EPS, needs clarification with the revised form-3A
I'm unable to understand what it means and what needs to be done. Can someone please advise? Thanks

You should have joined EPF after Sept 2014. At the time of your joining your PF qualifying salary was more than Rs 15000. You were not eligible for pension as per law. But the then employer has put his share of contribution to Employees Pension Scheme (EPS) also. Now, the EPFO wants a clarification how this happened with a revised form 3A statement (a statement of contribution made by the employer in respect of an employee) that should mention his share of contribution is put in the member's PF account alone without bifurcating it as 8.33% to Pension Fund and the remaining 3.67% to PF. Contact the previous employer who did this error.
