Leave should be as per the Acts applicable to the respective organization. If it is a factory where manufacturing activities are carried out, then the Factories Act will be applicable. If it is a trading organization or an office of any factory outside the boundaries of the factory, then the state Shops and Commercial Establishments Act will be applicable.

You can get an idea of what kinds of leaves are available and accordingly frame a leave policy for your organization. Remember that the leaves admissible are the minimum number, but you can provide a greater number than prescribed under the Act; however, you cannot reduce it in any way.
