Facing PF Claim Rejection Due to Date Issues? Here's How to Tackle It

My PF date of joining is 1-6-2018. My PF passbook starts from 1-10-2018. Unfortunately, my PF claim has been rejected. I then submitted the joint declaration form to correct the date of joining on October 16, 2023. However, the date has not been updated yet. Could you please provide guidance on how to claim my PF amount?

If your contributions were remitted from October 2018 only, the employer would be responsible for non-remittance of PF from June 2018. For that, the EPFO may issue a notice under section 7A. That may be the reason for the delay. Therefore, please visit the EPF Office to get it clarified.
