Why Are PF and Professional Tax Missing from My Offer Letter's Salary Breakdown? Any Advice?

In my offer letter, my PF amount and professional tax are missing in the breakdown of my gross salary.

Gross Salary Breakdown

The gross shown includes only basic + DA, HRA, and special allowance. However, employee PF and tax are also deducted from the gross to arrive at the in-hand/take-home salary. Why refuse to show these components explicitly in the offer?

HR says they will show it later in the salary slip.

Any idea what can be done?

Hi, PF has to be 12% of Basic + DA. However, if the Basic salary is less than Rs. 15,000/-, then PF can be calculated on Gross minus HRA.

Professional Tax will be based on your salary slab.

Besides, I know what the amount is, just that it is NOT there in the offer letter. Which brings me back to the same question, why won't they show it in the offer letter?
