Hi there, I have a question - I worked in a small-scale IT company from 2014 to 2019. I held various positions during these 5 years, but that company did not provide me with any UAN number; instead, they provided me with an experience letter for each role. Since 2019 until 2022, I worked in non-IT companies due to personal issues. During this period, I worked for three different companies, all of which provided PF with unique UAN numbers.
Two years ago, I completed a Hadoop admin course and am currently working as a Hadoop admin in a training institute. While they provide me with an experience letter, they do not offer PF. I am considering switching to a reputed company for a Hadoop admin position, and the new company will likely ask for my UAN number. Should I mention my non-IT background? If not, how should I handle the one-year gap in my work history?
Please guide me on the best course of action. Thank you for your help.
