My company is putting me into a PIP, and then I have to resign, which will happen in a few days. Now I am expecting paternity in the coming months. My company has a 3-month paternity leave policy. I want to avail myself of it to give time to my wife as well as search for a new job. I know that my company will not support me in this, and I have to resign. I have a couple of questions:
1. Can I take paternity leave during my notice period of 60 days?
2. Can I avail insurance for my wife for maternity during the notice period?
I have not disclosed this information as HR might ask me to leave early. I need your guidance on this.
