Confused by PF Claim Error? How to Fix Incorrect Date of Joining Issue

I received this error when I tried to claim my PF. How can I solve it, and how can I identify which date of joining (DOJ) is incorrect?

Joint declaration and employer responsibilities

A joint declaration is submitted jointly by you (the member) and the employer to correct any fields in the PF records, such as the date of joining, date of birth, etc. If there is any mismatch in the date of joining, your employer will be responsible for correcting it by sending the joint declaration.

Form 5 and its role

Form 5 is the monthly report of employee joining. It is submitted every month and will show who all have joined during a particular month. This will help establish your date of joining. If there is a mismatch, again, the employer is responsible for sending these details to EPFO. Therefore, please contact the employer.
