Frustrated with EPFO's Inaction on Updating Joining Dates? Who Can Help?

Sir, Even after repeated requests to update the DOJ (Date of Joining) of several employees in our organization, EPFO authorities are not willing to update the records. We have submitted a joint declaration signed by the employer and employee, an employee service certificate, and the old annexure - K (from where the old PF and pension fund account got transferred) as proof to the EPFO RO. But to date, no actions have been taken by EPFO authorities.

Kindly advise whom we need to approach. We have raised grievances regarding this in the EPFO grievance portal, but no results.

Hi, If you are representing the employer side, it is better to visit the PF Office in person and meet the PRO or the concerned section staff to check for updates. It is always advisable to have a good rapport with these officials to get things done. Mere phone conversations or submitting forms alone will not work.
