When the recession came they terminated me stating dual employment - which was previously cleared. What to do now?

I have completed 10 days of dual employment in 2021. The company was fine with this until 2023. However, in 2023, during the recession, they terminated me citing dual employment.

Since then, I have attended multiple interviews and cleared most of them. However, during the Background Verification (BGV) process, issues arise. Despite mentioning the dual employment and termination problem at the beginning, HR advised continuing with the interviews first.

After successfully passing all rounds, the pre-BGV problem surfaces, and then the recruiters stop responding to calls and emails. I am feeling completely disheartened. How should I address this situation?

If I disclose the "dual employment & termination" matter at the beginning, I still do not receive an offer letter. Even if I bring it up after completing all technical rounds and mention it during the HR interview, issues persist. I am losing all hope. Please provide guidance.

Perhaps it is time to consider seeking employment with companies that are not very particular about Background Verification (BGV). Start-ups might be a better fit for you.

Don't you folks think whatever has happened, happened in the past? Yes, there is going to be an issue in BGV, but that doesn't mean I cannot join any good company in the future.

There has to be a solution. Overlapping is just for 10 days only. I have 10 years of total experience. How come 10 days is greater than 10 years?
