Facing PF Transfer Issues Due to Wrong Remittance? Anyone Else Dealt with This Error?

Hi, I have worked with two employers and need to transfer one PF account to another PF account. I tried through the online portal but got rejected due to the following error. Has anyone experienced this error before? Please reply.

Error: NON EPS / EMPLOYER & REMIT CONTRIBUTIONS PF ER & CLAIM REFUND WRONG REMITTANCE MADE TO EPS SHARE

If your date of joining the first establishment was after September 2014, and your salary at the time of joining was more than Rs 15,000, but the employer contributed to PF by bifurcating it into PF and Pension Fund, then there is a chance that this confirmation is sought. Therefore, please clarify your date of joining and PF qualifying salary.

You have to personally visit the PF office and declare that the EPS contributions were made due to an oversight. You can also involve your employers and ask them to provide a statement explaining why they allocated a portion of the contribution to the Pension fund.
