Feeling Stuck After Resignation: How Can I Get My Acceptance and Relieving Letter?

Yagya Dutt
Dear friends, please help. I am currently employed at Allana Group with the designation of Sales Executive. I joined the group in January 2023. Over the last six months, my seniors have been harassing me and recently transferred me from Delhi to Haryana without prior notice or an official email for the transfer. I endured this situation for the past six months, but on September 15, 2023, I decided to resign from the organization due to the circumstances. However, my seniors have not acknowledged my resignation nor provided me with an acceptance letter or a relieving letter. I seek your guidance on what steps I can take next. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Hi, no employer can force any employee to continue. You have every right to submit a resignation. If you are serving the proper notice period as per the terms and conditions of your employment, your employer cannot deny your resignation and can't compel you to continue. Hope after submitting your resignation, you are serving the notice period and didn't abscond from duty? Keep a physical/electronic copy of all correspondences and negotiate with your employer for relieving. In case of no proper response, you may seek the help of the Labour Officer of your office jurisdiction.
