PF Deduction and Salary Threshold

If an employee joined with a basic salary below ₹10,000 in May 2010 and the employer deducted PF accordingly, and gradually his salary increased to now cross the basic salary of ₹15,000 (the threshold limit for PF), can the employer cancel his PF deduction without the permission of that employee? Please advise.

Hi, Even if the employee's PF salary exceeds Rs. 15,000, the employer is liable to contribute Rs. 1,800 (12% of Rs. 15,000), and you cannot cancel the whole PF abruptly.
