The attachment is not a screen shot of the employer portal but it is employee/ member portal. The question here was all about in how many days shall an employer update or mark exit and this can be done by the employer on the next day itself by logging into his portal, ie, employer portal. At the same time, if the employer is not giving exit to an employee, he can "mark exit" through his portal. This can be done after two months' waiting. The screenshot is supporting this one and not the employer's act of exiting an employee.
Now, coming to why the employee portal is restricting marking exit for two months is that withdrawal of PF can be made only after two months of leaving an establishment and not joining an organisation where the PF applies. If the employee has continued the membership with the same UAN but with different PF member Id (obviously, the PF member id will change with every change in employment but the UAN should remain the same) this question would not have popped up.
