How to Draft a PIP Letter When Employees Refuse to Acknowledge It?

nisha-soni1
Hi all, We have to issue the PIPs to employees who are non-performers. So, we give a hard copy of the letter to employees and also send them an email for acknowledgment. However, sometimes employees deny accepting the PIP letter and refuse to acknowledge it via email as well. In that case, what should be the draft of the letter where the PIP is considered valid even without acknowledgment?

Awaiting your suggestions.

Thanks

You can send communication for a PIP to the concerned staff member through email. A PIP intimation letter is not a notice of termination. If you are very particular about acknowledgment, you have options in email such as "read receipt" (emails sent through outlook.com), so that you will know the concerned staff has read your email.
