How Can I Get a Response from a Client Who Hired Our Candidate Without a Contract?

Dear members,

I hope you are all doing well. I am the Founder of a Recruitment Agency based in Jeddah. A few months ago, a very renowned company requested us to share some resumes urgently for the position of a restaurant manager. During our online meeting, they informed us about an upcoming contract for bulk hiring with some reputable five-star hotels. We provided suitable CVs for the requested position. Despite our insistence on signing the agreement before sharing resumes, they proceeded with interviewing and hiring one of our candidates without finalizing the contract. The candidate has shared the offer letter with me.

Seeking Advice on Client Response

I am seeking advice on how to prompt a response from the management. We tried reaching out via email and phone calls, but they are unresponsive. The contact person on LinkedIn also seems disinterested. This company is well-known in real estate and hospitality. (Please let me know if I can disclose their name.)

I would appreciate any suggestions on how to handle this situation and ensure payment from the client.

Thank you for your assistance.

Hi, Normally, no recruitment consultant will share resumes before signing the agreement with payment terms. If there has been no response from the contact person, you may consider sending an email to the CEO of the company, attaching the previous email correspondences. It is advisable to try to gather key authorities' contacts and mark a copy to all top officials. This approach might prove to be effective. Thank you.
