Service Overlap in PF: Will Future Employers Understand My Situation?

Hi, I have a one-day service overlap in the PF because I was relieved on the same day I joined the new company.

Can companies in the future accept my reason and recruit me?

Concerns with Service Overlap in PF

Not a good thing to have. Usually, companies consider this as dual employment, and even if they are okay with it, there will be one more concern. EPF transfer/withdrawal will be an issue. You would be roaming around offices and asking to update the joining/last working date.

Steps to Resolve the Issue

Please request the last organization to change the last working date to one day earlier or the current organization to update the joining date to one day later. If you have recently switched, put the request quickly so that the changes can be done before the PF deposit for that particular month.
