Hi members, I have few questions and want your suggestions regarding Sandwich leave policy.
• Is the Sandwich Leave Policy justifiable?
• Is it being followed by all companies/industries?
• Is it legal/illegal?
• Is it beneficial for the company?
• If this policy is removed and an employee takes a leave for more than a week, for Eg 10 days. Then all 10 days will be adjusted against paid leave or Sunday should be left from that.
Since a month of joining,I don’t see any issues in employees like someone taking too many leaves here unless necessary.I wish to remove this policy as I feel is unnecessary heartburn to employees. What’s your take on this?
For your reference,My company working hours is 9:00 am to 6:30 pm Monday to Friday and 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday,Sunday is weekoff for all.21 days Paid leave for confirmed employees.
