Leave Eligibility After Confirmation: Can a Newly Confirmed Employee Use Last Year's Leave?

Joined in October 2022, confirmation was done on March 23. Is the confirmed employee eligible to take leave? Should the last calendar year's leave be allowed or not?

He joined only in October. That means during the last calendar year, he would get 3 months' leave. If it is credited pro rata for the period of service, then he can avail it now. For that, he need not have waited for confirmation.
