How to calculate Workers' Compensation (WC) compensation

To calculate Workers' Compensation (WC) compensation, you typically need to consider various factors, such as the injured worker's average weekly wage, the severity of the injury, and the state-specific laws governing workers' compensation benefits. It's essential to follow the guidelines set forth by your state's workers' compensation board or commission to ensure accurate calculations and compliance with regulations. Additionally, consulting with HR professionals or legal experts specializing in workers' compensation can provide further clarity and assistance in navigating the calculation process effectively.

Hi, it depends on the nature of the injury. Have you collected a disability certificate? It also depends on the percentage of loss of earning capacity.

Hello Sandeep,

FYR...

If the employee's actual salary is Rs. 30,000, but we calculate based on that wage ceiling.

Calculation:

In case of Permanent Total Disablement, the age is 30.

Relevant Factor of Age X 60% of Wage ceiling.

Compensation = 207.98 X 9,000 = Rs. 18,71,820/-

Thank you.
