Is HR's Signature Necessary on a Full and Final Settlement Letter Signed by the Director?

Uvaraja VP
A request for a full and final settlement approval letter is raised by the terminated employee through the HR department. Is the signature of HR required on the letter? If the letter is signed by the director, does HR still need to sign the permission letter? If there is any company or factory act relevant to this rule, please share the details of the act.

Hi, the usual process is that HR can forward the letter to the Director with a note and signature stating, "Sir, for your approval."

The approval will be from the Director of the Company. The letter is routed through HR.
