Hi,

As per the Shops and Establishment Act, the maximum accumulation of PLs is 45 days in Noida. What happens if an employee has a balance of 45 leaves? How will the leaves be calculated for the next year—will it be 45 plus 15 or 45 only?

When the accumulation ceiling is fixed at 45 days, any leave accrued by the employee over and above this ceiling either needs to be availed by the employee or encashed by the company.
