Is PL Leave Encashment Required for Final Settlements in Manufacturing?

Hi All, kindly clarify whether PL leave encashment is mandatory during the full and final settlement of a resigned employee and a terminated employee in the manufacturing industry. If it is mandatory, please share the Factory, Labour, or Wages Act rule.

At the time of discharge or termination of employment due to any reason, the unavailed leave should be encashed. Please refer to Section 79 of the Factories Act for details.
