Employer Won't Acknowledge My Resignation Date as 5th May – How Can I Resolve This?

Himanikhandelwal
I gave my resignation on 5 May and was relieved, but I did not receive the salary for the 5 days of May, and as a result, my PF was also not submitted. So, the date of exit I can mark is 30 April only. I have talked to my employer, and he is refusing to mark my date of exit as 5 May. What should I do?

Hi, In the normal course, after processing 5 days' salary, 5 days of PF should be remitted. However, I would like to confirm if you have actually worked for those 5 days or if they have been marked as loss of pay due to absence? You need to check with your employer.

They are not ready to share the details. They are saying they will not mark your exit in May, even though they have given you a relieving letter.
