Minimum Wage Updates for Tamil Nadu Hospitals: What's the Latest on the 2022 Revision?

For the minimum wages notification of the Government of Tamil Nadu and revised DA as of April 1, 2022, for hospitals and nursing homes, an appeal was made to the government for its revision during 2022. Can anyone specify the current status of this matter?

Wage Revision Committee Report

A wage revision committee was formed with employee unions and employer representatives for the second time in October 2022, for a period of six months. The committee submitted their report to the labor department in April 2023.

Now, the Tamil Nadu government may proceed with an amendment in this regard.
