Navigating PF Withdrawal: Can I Withdraw from Company A Without Transferring Accounts?

Hi Team, I just wanted to ask a question regarding PF withdrawal. I am currently working at Company A. However, six months ago, I accepted an offer from another company, B, without resigning from Company A. I took just one month's leave from Company A and joined Company B. After starting at Company B, I encountered some problems and decided to return to my original company, A. The HR or management at Company A is unaware of my job switch. Meanwhile, Company B has already created my PF account and contributed for one month.

Now, I am considering withdrawing my PF amount from Company A, where I am still employed. What will be the consequences of my withdrawal? Is it possible to withdraw the PF amount from Company A without transferring it to another PF account?

Hi, what about the UAN number? Do both companies use the same UAN number? If so, you will face issues when withdrawing PF. Please check if the partial withdrawal option is available in your UAN login. If it is, try to withdraw some money through it.
