What will be the amount for ESIC calculation in May month?

Can I opt from PF Contribution if my basic wages is Rs 15000/-. If any employee is working in X company and his basic wages is more than Rs 15000/- and he has opted from pf contribution but later he joined in Y company but his basic wages is Rs 14000/- than in this case can his PF will be deducted or not.

The legal principle is that once an employee is a member of EPFO, he or she continues to be so irrespective of the salary being drawn. In the second company, the employee draws wages less than Rs. 15,000/- pm so even otherwise he is required to subscribe to PF.

If employee EPF wages is lesser than Rs. 15000/- the he/she should be covered under EPF
