Hi,

In case the wrong salary is not credited to the employee's account, you can revise the paysheet.

If the wrong salary is credited to the employee's account, you can collect back the excess amount through a demand draft from the employee.

The excess salary can also be recovered from the next salary paid; this is a permissible deduction.

If you have overpaid an employee's salary, you should notify the employee and make the necessary adjustment in the subsequent month's salary.
