What is the leave policy for a start-up in Bangalore with 7-10 employees?

Hi, You need to follow leave rules based on the Act your organization is governed by. If your office come under the purview of Shops and Establishment Act then you need to follow leave rules as per Shops and Establishment Act of your State. Else if your employer is a Manufacturer, then you need to follow leave rules as applicable under Factories Act. But in both cases total employee count should be 10 and above.

IF your organisation is Factory then EL is applicable as per the act
If its Shops & Commercial Establishments then EL 1 leave for 20 days & 10 SL per annum is applicable

Thanks for the reply , our company comes under Shops and establishment act and we wanted to implement leave policy in our organisation . Right now there are 7 employees in our organisation.
