Feeling Targeted by My Boss: How Can I Ensure I Get My Experience Letter Before Leaving?

priti-parghi
Hello, I recently joined an organization two months ago. The work was different from my previous experience, which I had already informed them about. Everything was fine initially, but later the boss started being rude for very trivial reasons and mistakes. She began singling me out, even though the same mistakes were made by my other colleagues. At one point, it became too much, and I decided to resign. Fortunately, I found a job at a different organization. Now, my previous boss is targeting me even more. My new organization requires an experience letter, so I am serving the notice period. However, I am worried that she may not provide me with the experience and relieving letter on my last day.

Hi, As per your statement, you are on a notice period and yet to be relieved. So why assume that you will not receive the relieving letter? Be positive that everything will go well. At times, the wavelength with your immediate superior may not match for unknown reasons. Just because your boss doesn't like you, she can't withhold your relieving letter. Be an optimist.

Wait until your notice period is over and then see. If you don't get it, approach your superior.
