Is an Employee's Absence on the 29th and 1st a 'Sandwich' if the Month Ends on a Sunday?

Hello Everyone!

I have a query: "If the last day of the month is SUNDAY and the employee is absent on the 29th of the current month and on the 1st of the next month, will it be considered a sandwich or not?"

Kindly help.

Hi,

If an employee is on leave from the 29th to the 1st, then the weekend in between will be considered as part of the leave. The sandwich leave policy will apply.
