Would like to know about the employee leave policy. Is there any amendments in the Leave policy for Maharashtra?

I would like to know about the employee leave policy. Is there any amendments in the Leave policy for Maharashtra.
If an employee applies for a leave of 15 days and the reason is a vacation, the sundays are considered as part of the leave or it is excluded from the leave.
Do we any latest update or any mention of the leaves policy in the companies act or shops and establishments Act.

In case of long leaves, holidays /week off fall in between to be considered as leave only.

Please refer the respective Act for any updates.
