I would like to know about the employee leave policy. Are there any amendments in the leave policy for Maharashtra?

If an employee applies for a leave of 15 days for a vacation, are Sundays considered as part of the leave or are they excluded from the leave?

Do we have any latest updates or any mention of the leave policy in the Companies Act or the Shops and Establishments Act?

In case of long leaves, holidays/week off that fall in between should be considered as part of the leave duration.
