Publication of Model standing orders in absence of Certified standing orders

Kenneth Dias
In absence of Standing orders for an organisation employing less that one hundred employees, can the model standing orders be followed in addition to the organisation rules and regulations ?.
Madhu.T.K
Yes, immediately on the application of the Standing Orders Act to your establishment the model standing order will have to be adopted and in a period of six months, you can draft and get certified your own standing orders. Though the principal Act has a provision for application of the Act for establishments employing 100 or more the state amendments may be checked and in many states it is 50 and not 100.

Thanks for giving clarity about standing orders, recently heard that it applicable to offices as well situated in Haryana.
I'm curious to know how many of the big firms have certified it as of now since this was implemented in Dec 2018 and what are the implication if any corporate is not having the same.
