Staggered off has not been made a law in India, though there is a proposal. Many companies, especially those that operate 7 days a week, follow the practice of staggering the weekly off.

I think you are correct, Mr. Madhu. Simply put, it is a scheme of rotational weekly off for employees working in establishments where the statutory weekly day of closure is not prescribed.
