I recently got terminated from a company due to absenteeism. Can I get an experience letter/certificate from the company, or is there any other way to obtain an experience letter?
Hi, It is company-specific, based on employer discretion. However, in most termination cases, employers do not prefer to provide a proper relieving letter even if they are ready to pay compensation. When you realize the value of an experience certificate, you shouldn't have absconded without informing the company.
Whether the separation is due to resignation or termination of service, the employer shall provide an experience certificate upon request, subject to the completion of the company's formalities.
Mr. Radha, if the employee absconded, it means the proper separation process was not followed, and the employee is not eligible for a proper experience letter.
