How to Handle Pending ESIC Contributions for One Employee: Direct Application or Online Portal?

Hi, here I am writing this to address a concern.

In our company, there are some pending payments towards the monthly contributions of employees' ESI. Can we remit a particular employee's pending month's contributions? If so, do I have to submit any application directly, or can I do it through the ESIC online portal?

Part payment of contribution is possible, but you cannot earmark it for a particular employee. For ESIC, all employees are considered insured persons, and you cannot allocate a specific amount exclusively to an employee.
