How Do I Transfer Employees from a Partnership Firm to a Pvt. Ltd. Company? Seeking HR Guidance

We have two organizations: 1) Pvt. Ltd Company 2) Partnership firm. Under both organizations, we have appointed staff. Now our management has decided to close the partnership firm and wants to shift the employees appointed under the Partnership firm to the Pvt. Ltd. Co. As an HR Manager, kindly let me know what the procedure is for transferring the staff from the Partnership firm to the Pvt. Ltd. Co. The staff who are going to transfer were appointed in January 2023 onwards.

Kindly provide guidance with any necessary formats.

As the firms are separate and distinct, it is better to issue a fresh appointment order by the private limited company. Since the service in the partnership is limited to approximately 2 months, issue a comprehensive order terminating all the employees from a fixed date and issue a fresh order by the Private Ltd. Company taking them on the rolls from the next day. This would avoid later complications and avoidable headaches.
