How to Resolve PF Transfer Issues Due to Missing Contributions During Medical Leave?

VIJAY KANTH
Hi everyone, a candidate was absent for 3 months and rejoined in the 4th month due to a medical issue (operation), i.e., November 2022, December 2022, and January 2023. In February 2023, she was working under the same contract which ended, and a new contract began. When applying for PF transfer from the old to the new contract, it was rejected, stating that contributions were not received for the months of November, December, and January, and the non-contributing pay (NCP) days were also not updated.

A copy of the screenshot showing the rejection by EPF is attached for reference.

Kindly guide us on the further procedure.

Hi, The employer has to certify that the reason for no contribution days is due to the absence of the employee along with Form 3A. Also, it seems there is a difference in the father's name of the candidate. Check and amend the same.
