Mistakenly Submitted Form 10C Instead of 10D – How Can I Fix This Pension Issue?

This is Nikhil. I have a scheme certificate and am eligible for a monthly pension, but mistakenly, I have claimed Form 10C. Now, I am unable to submit Form 10D. Can you please suggest?

Hello Nikhil Ji, As you have already claimed Form 10C and are now unable to submit Form 10D, please visit your nearest EPFO office for assistance. They will resolve it immediately.

Hi, Have you applied for Form-19 earlier or along with Form 10-C? Is your Form 19 (PF) amount settled? If you have not applied for Form 19, then automatically Form 10-C will get rejected. But, if your Form 19 is settled, then they may process Form 10-C. However, if you are eligible for Form 10-D, the PF department will reject your claim for 10-C, provided your age is equal to or more than 58 years.

If your age is less than 58 years, you are not eligible to claim for 10-D. You have to apply for another scheme certificate for your last service.

As suggested by Mr. Alok Singh, it is better to visit your regional/sub-regional PF office immediately.
