Facing Unpaid Wages in Hyderabad: How Can I Recover My Salary and Report It?

I worked in a company for more than a year and did not receive a salary for 6 months. They used to pay irregularly, not every month. Now, the due is for 6 months, and they are asking me to resign. It was a construction company. How can I get back my salary, and how can I complain to the labor department in Hyderabad, Telangana?

Being a supervisor, I don't think that the Labour department will entertain your grievance as an industrial dispute. However, if the salary involved is not more than Rs 24,000, you can try following the Payment of Wages Act. Before initiating this, please try to reach out to the Principals for whom the contract is being done. Sometimes, their involvement in the issue can resolve it.
