There is no issue with respect to the appointment of a person from Nepal. They can take up employment anywhere in India without a visa. However, while appointing such persons, you should know details about them, such as their address proof and ID proof issued by the competent authority in Nepal. A passport would serve this purpose.
We faced an issue with salary payment as the salary is credited directly to the bank. Later on, the employee informed us that he does not have an account in India. Otherwise, there is no bar to employment.
