Dear All, During the background verification, I came across that one shortlisted candidate was moonlighting a year ago (During Covid Times), No longer now. Will it involve legal obligations/ what steps can be followed by an Organization against the candidate?

Since it is a past one, I suggest it can be ignored. Better take proper relieving order from the past employer to safeguard you Organization.
