Form 19 and 10c applied yet pf submitted in the same account at present time

Once Form 19 and Form 10C are settled for the PF account, the contractor receives the contract again, and the PF amount is submitted to the same account to which the claim was applied (Form 10C and Form 19). The problem arises when I attempt to claim an advance, as the claim is rejected by the concerned PF Office. I kindly request suggestions on how to proceed in order to access and receive the advance.

Hi, once the exit date is marked and the PF claim is settled, the same PF account cannot be used. The contractor should be allotted a new PF number for the new credit.

Abhishek Dhingra, Sir, I have already been allotted a new EPF account and have submitted a transfer claim via Form 13 on the EPF portal, which has been accepted by my employer. However, it is pending approval at the EPF field office until 03/03/2023. Could you please provide a filled-up sample of Form 3A?

Hi, An employer needs to write a letter to the PF office regarding the incorrect credit of PF funds to a closed account and request the transfer of these funds to the new account. Employees can verify if the transfer option is available by checking their UAN login, although it is often not accessible.

Hi, If it is taking too much time, please contact the PRO of the respective PF office and file your grievance. They will guide you with the remedy or will resolve it.

V. M. Lakshminarayanan, Sir, could you please provide me with the letter format to submit to the EPF office regarding this matter? I received notification that the concerned PF Office rejected the transfer claim today on 14/03/2023. Your assistance in this regard would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, The letter to the PF office should be from your employer (contractor) stating that the PF contribution was wrongly credited to the old closed account. Request them to transfer the money to the new PF account number. Since the contribution was incorrectly credited by the employer, they are supposed to write the letter, not you.
