All forms of remuneration fall under compensation and benefits. Not only do salaries and bonuses fall under this category, but anything you pay to your employees directly or indirectly is considered compensation and benefits. Medical facilities, doctor-on-call services, recreational facilities, food at concessional rates, and cooperative societies are examples of the 'benefits' indirectly given to workers.
