Hello, I am working in a private limited company. I just want to ask, is there any legal action that can be taken against a company that requires employees to work more than 8 hours? My office hours should be from 10 AM to 6 PM, but no one can leave the office before 9 PM. The minimum working hours here are 10, and they do not pay for overtime. It is a firm where 60 workers are employed, and the minimum working hours are 10, with some working up to 15-20 hours, yet they do not compensate for the extra time. Please help me in this case; I am sick of it, and it's not just me but all the employees working in this company. Please advise me on what I can do in this situation and where I can lodge a complaint. They tell us we are in training, but in this company, at least 8 months of work is done. However, in this company, only 6 months of training is supposed to be provided. Please help us.
