Apprentice Act Confusion: Do We Need Apprentices at Our Registered Office Too?

Ak212
Hello everyone, can anyone guide me on the Apprentice Act? I am working at the registered office, and at my plant site, we do have apprentices as per the act. But is it also compulsory to recruit apprentices at the registered office as well? I request seniors to guide me on this.

Regards,
Asma

The Apprentice Advisor of the local area is the person competent to give direction to engage apprentices as per the Apprentice Act 1961. However, before doing that, the facilities available in the establishment have to be ascertained. A registered office is basically only an office establishment. They can only direct for engaging commercial apprentices or data entry apprentices.
